Garden volunteer

What You'll Do: 

Sutton House are looking to expand the volunteer team that help us to share and care for the oldest house in Hackney.

 

Garden Volunteers: 

Join the gardening group and help to keep our outdoor spaces green all year round. There is plenty of fresh air and good company to be had in the Breakers Yard, whether you are a green-fingered genius or a total newbie. 

 

When?

Tuesdays and/or Thursdays 

Why You'll Love It: 

You will be part of our Community Gardening group, contributing to the current and future vision of Sutton House and Breaker’s Yard, help look after a small pocket and create that wow factor for our visitors today and future generations.

What You'll Learn: 

You'll learn about gardening or share your skills with others.

We are especially looking for people who: 

· Love people 

· Are warm and friendly 

· Love conversations - asking questions is just as important as answering them 

· Are eager to learn - history and gardening knowledge not essential
