Grow your digital communications skills as a Marketing and Communications Volunteer for the oldest house in Hackney, Sutton House 

Sutton House are looking to expand the volunteer team that helps them to share and care for the oldest house in Hackney. As a Marketing and Communications Volunteer, you will be able to use and grow your digital and writing skills as well as taking the lead on social media posts, helping to update articles for the website, and keeping signage fresh and relevant.   

Join a cooking, hula hooping, or congolese dance workshop as a Social Club Volunteer with North London Cares 

The North London Cares social clubs are free intergenerational activities which bring older (65+) and younger people together to learn, laugh and try out new things. They try everything, from silent discos to hula hooping; trips to the cinema to pottery and crafting. The clubs take place in different venues such as pubs, cafes, galleries, community centres and community gardens across Camden and Islington.   

Sing with the Community Choir or sign up as a steward at the St Mary le Strand Church 

Sing a variety of new music for an hour a week with a professionally trained opera singer, a chance to have a go, follow music and do vocal exercises and make new friends. All you need is enthusiasm and commitment, no experience necessary. St Mary le Strand Church are also looking for stewards to show people around the venue.
