Get Rid of and Donate has been operating since 2017. Our goals are to alleviate the congestion at landfills of items that are reusable and to support low-income families by donating usable personal and household items.
Shoptodonate eco community shop provides outreach support to people and families with access to recycled unwanted items, the shop fundraises for needy people and families through the ongoing cost of living and campaigns against overpolluted landfills. Volunteers would help the community shop with the following activities
1. Meet and greet new people and families wanting to register to become members to access the project's services, opportunities, and
free donations.
2. Introduce the project to the local community with marketing material and its deliverables and encourage the community to recycle and donate.
3. Receive donations, sort and allocate items for distribution for the projects rough sleepers, refugee & asylum projects.
4. Host the community shop with fundraising and receiving monetary donations for items
5. Introducing/directing to the project external community hubs.
6. General administration and housekeeping, maintaining the communication book (internal) and participating on the volunteer's communication noticeboard.

- Help with the expansion and development of the vision of the project to help and support because we care.
- Assist with living standards for people and families.
- Help improve the economic burden and living crisis by providing essential living items, elevating pressure on financing for food, and clothes, heating their homes, and survival of living on the streets.
- Help with the relief of mental health and anxiety which also includes the prevention of poverty, criminality domestic abuse and suicide across the backgrounds of people
- Contribute to a sustainable future, while helping members of our community who are in need.

We are looking for
