Lifelines

Lifelines connects community and faith groups with farmers, helping to plant a network of hedgerows and wildlife corridors across the country. We're organising a multi faith group to take part in a Lifelines volunteering weekend.

What You'll Do:

This is an opportunity to explore community, spirituality and ecology through action and engagement. We will join a group from another institution to stay at a farm and plant hedgerows for a weekend (6-8 December) in Shoreham, Kent. Alongside planting hedgerows, we will have the opportunity to share and learn from our different faith traditions while reflecting on our natural surroundings.

Why You'll Love It:

This is a great chance to meet new people, get in to the countryside of the UK and spend time out in nature!

What You'll Learn:

This is a chance to learn more about what drives you to care for the planet while learning from other faith traditions about their spiritual practices and relationships to nature.

What We're Looking For:

Five students and five staff members from a variety of faith traditions who are willing to get their hands dirty and are open to sharing and learning from others.
