Markfield is small charity organisation helping and supporting families with children and adults with disability. This is an opportunity to join a team, to gain skills and experience, and to give back to the community and help others.

After receiving training, volunteers are matched with a family to support them for 2hrs a week. Volunteers offer support to meet the needs of each family. This could include:

  • Playing with disabled children or siblings at home.
  • Helping families go out in the community.
  • Spending time with parents.
  • Supporting a teenager to explore and develop their interests and independence.

Markfield is a very friendly, happy space to volunteer. We are looking to make a difference to family life, the families we support are so grateful to us and our volunteers. Volunteers can be part of this project and make the difference which can be very rewarding.
