We are looking for a student to be part of the Cubs Leadership team at the 11th Willesden Scout Group. The role will involve helping to deliver fun and exciting weekly programmes with the opportunity of also being involved in weekend events and camps

It’s fun, it’s exciting, it’s engaging and most of all you are helping to shape the next generation providing them with the skills for life that they need to succeed both physically and mentally.
You will learn the softer skills of how to manage and look after young people in a controlled environment.
You'll also have the opportunity to learn new skills including First Aid, group management and organising events.
We are looking for keen and enthusiastic students who not necessarily have scouting experience but who are willing to give up a small amount of time each week to help young people.

The role of a reading helper places you in the heart of primary school life. You’ll be leading reading sessions that bring a positive reading experience to children outside of the classroom. Children will benefit from someone giving them 1:1 support.

We run a monthly three course meal for isolated older people with live entertainment. Volunteers are vital to the dinner as with out them it would not go ahead. They provide a variety of roles.

In - Deep run music therapy sessions for children and young adults with send aged 3 - 25 with qualified music therapists and in age appropriate groups. Volunteers help support the children as well the running of the sessions.
