Volunteer Gardener

Join us at one of our weekly gardening groups to undertake a variety of activities with guidance from our friendly trained gardening staff.

What You'll Do:

We consider everyone’s circumstances and design sessions that are supportive and safe for everyone involved. Tasks are suited to all levels of fitness and needs from digging, weeding and planting to watering and seed sprinkling.

Why You'll Love It:

Getting outdoors and being in nature and green spaces can also improve your mental and physical health and wellbeing. You will have the opportunity to meet new people and work within a friendly team, all with a goal of improving the local community! We like to reward our volunteers with trips, picnics and talks to say thanks for all their hard work.

What You'll Learn:

Becoming a gardening volunteer will allow you to gain experience in maintaining green spaces and learn some general gardening skills.

What We're Looking For:

We are an inclusive organisation that endeavors to make our spaces and volunteering opportunities as accessible as possible and to meet the needs of our diverse community. No prior gardening experience is necessary, just enthusiasm and the willingness to get stuck in! Volunteers will be expected to follow guidance in our Volunteer Agreement, our risk assessment and our Equality, Diversity & Inclusion and Safeguarding Policies.
