Our exciting Lottery Heritage Funded project: Women for Women: 19th century women in Bloomsbury explores the challenges women faced accessing education, training and employment. Our website - See Current Projects - shares tributes to these women.

- ensure that ‘facts/dates/places agree across entries and, where information is missing, this is identified and added.
- Typos, spelling mistakes etc are corrected, names standardised etc.
- suggest ways to make entries more reader friendly
- conduct research as necessary

This extraordinary women's history has been overshadowed by the achievements of the 20th century Bloomsbury Group and the suffragettes. You will learn a wealth of social history in an accessible way and be able to use this to inform your knowledge of contemporary debates. We are looking for volunteers who can commit at least 4 hours a week on an ongoing basis. Full DBS check and travel expenses covered. Volunteers receive information, advice and training Weekly meetings are held on Saturday for 1 hour
