Your role is to support our teachers in creating a positive and engaging learning environment for the girls in the Into School Programme, which is designed for newly arrived migrant girls aged 11-19 who are out of education.
- Collaborate with teachers in ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) and Maths.
- Assist with lesson plans and activities, ensuring a smooth flow of the classes.
- Provide individual support to students as needed, helping them overcome challenges and participate actively.
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all girls feel comfortable learning.
- Good academic background with GSCE or degree-level education, particularly in Maths and English to provide competent academic support.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students from diverse backgrounds and languages.
- Patience and understanding to support students with varying learning paces and needs.
- Enthusiasm for creating a fun and engaging learning environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
