Female Study Room Volunteer for the Youth Service

Your role is to provide support on the GEMS programme, which provides after-school clubs for girls aged 5-18. On the Study Room Club
is engage the girls helping them while they do their homework and have some fun activities like colouring.

What You'll Do: 
  • Assist in planning and facilitating after-school clubs for girls, providing support and guidance as needed.
  • Help create engaging and age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and personal development.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive atmosphere where girls feel comfortable expressing themselves, building confidence, and forming positive relationships.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as attendance tracking, activity planning, and organising materials to ensure smooth operation of the programme.
What We're Looking For: 
  • Empathy and patience to work effectively with girls of varying ages, backgrounds, and abilities, understanding their unique needs and challenges.
  • Strong communication skills to interact positively with girls and other volunteers.
  • Creativity and enthusiasm to develop and implement engaging activities that capture the girls' interests and promote learning and growth.
  • Reliability and commitment to attend scheduled sessions consistently.
