We are looking for two overnight volunteers to be at Robes Winter Night Shelters for the provision of homeless people in Southwark and Lambeth by hosting 1 night a week for 12 weeks during the winter months.
Responsibilities include:
- Ensuring the building is secure and fire exits are accessible in case of an emergency.
- Greeting any late guest arrivals and providing food left by the evening team.
- Making sure the building is locked and lights turned out by 10 (including the church area).
- Responding if a guest needs assistance in the night.
- Letting guests out if they need to leave early for work.
- Passing information about how the overnight has been to the morning volunteer.
