Welcome Area Volunteer

What You'll Do:

We work in East London, once of the most deprived areas of the UK. We support people in times of crisis, providing a safe space, food, warmth and access to advice & support.

The Welcome area is our clients first point of contact for our service users, you would be part of a team of volunteers that welcome people who are struggling with homelessness, are vulnerably housed or require support in addressing their substance misuse issues. The team assist the Welcome Area Coordinator in ensuring the smooth operation of the centre, enabling our other departments to remain effective in supporting the people we work with.

Why You'll Love It:

You'll have the chance to make a real difference and improve the experince our service users recieve. There is a lot of interactions with our clients and you'll be able to see how we work behind the scenes in the fight to end homelessness

What You'll Learn:

Ongoing training and support is offered to our volunteers to enhance their skills and experience.
