Website development

Help build the website of South Bank Churches (an ecumenical group in Southwark/Lambeth of which the King's Chaplaincy is a member).

What You'll Do:

The website build has already been started through WordPress. This needs completing as well as the upload of content. There is an opportunity to continue this opportunity by maintaining and updating the website after the initial launch.

Why You'll Love It:

You'll get to liaise with churches active in social justice issues and help them connect with others across the South Bank area. You'll be helping to address the issues these church communities in the South Bank area are devtoed to like supporting rough sleepers, alleviating food poverty and ensuring community care.

What You'll Learn:

A chance to develop skills using WordPress  and you'll have a finished product to show at the end of it! This is also an opportunity to develop communication skills as well as gain a better understanding of the local community around King's in Southwark and Lambeth.

What We're Looking For:

An organised and creative individual.

You don't need in depth coding knowledge as WordPress has ready to use themes, but experience in website building or use of WordPress would be an advantage.
