As a department, King’s Sport & Wellness has a vision to connect with our communities to find their personal best. We deliver a range of opportunities for students and staff to get involved in sport and physical activity, with an ambition to be the most active university in London. We run social sport sessions through our BeActive programme, utilise exercise to improve mental health in the Active Wellness Scheme, support elite athletes through our Performance Programme and operate four gyms across King’s campuses and halls of residence.
The King’s Sport & Wellness Academy brings together our coaching, volunteering, and workforce opportunities under one arm in order to maximise its impact and experience to our students. King's Sport & Wellness will be working in collaboration with KCL Volunteering to offer volunteering opportunities for students to get involved in. Individuals will have the opportunity to gain experience working with local and national organisations, learning transferable skills to help aid in future careers and ambitions. `The King’s Sport & Wellness Academy brings together our coaching, volunteering, and workforce opportunities under one arm in order to maximise its impact and experience to our students.
