Every week we provide a lunch for isolated older people in Victoria. We provide jacket potato with various fillings and a hot meal in winter. the lunch is run by volunteers. We require volunteers on a Wednesday from 11.00 - 2.30.
Volunteers will be doing a range of duties including setting up and clearing up, serving meals, making tea and coffee, washing up as well as chatting to older people etc.
This is a great opportunity to meet older people with amazing stories and make a practical and emotional difference to people's lives every week.
You will learn about the difficulties older people often face and how weekly face to face contact can make a vital difference.
We are looking for reliable volunteers.
