Policy and Procedure Support

Advice on Cybersecurity or Health and Safety policies and procedures for local employability organisation, supporting people facing homelessness, prison leavers and veterans.

What You'll Do:

Only a Pavement Away would like support from a Skilled Volunteer to improve their current HR policies and procedures. The organisation has recently seen rapid growth in demand for their service and would like to ensure their policies and procedures are robust, operational for their specific needs, and compliant with all legal requirements. In particular, they would like assistance producing a new Health and Safety policy or Cybersecurity policy, and help identifying any processes required to support these policies.

Link UP London links Skilled Volunteers with Social Good Organisations (SGOs) across London. All Link UP London Skilled Volunteering Projects are designed to work around the schedule of the Skilled Volunteer. The time commitment above will be agreed and spread over a time frame that works for both the Skilled Volunteer and the SGO they are supporting.

Why You'll Love It:

This project will allow you to help build the long-term capacity of the organisation. By having confidence in their HR resources and roles, the organisation will be able to work more efficiently and support more people.

Only a Pavement Away acts as an intermediate between forward-thinking hospitality employers and charities working with people facing homelessness, prison leavers and veterans.
