Working directly with the Fundraising and Communications Team and the Operations Team, your tasks will include assisting in all aspects of the planning of Galapagos Day:
- Researching and contacting potential audiences to boost attendance
- Event administration
- Designing and ordering prints for our photography display
- Supporting the running of our raffle
- Logistical support for the event
- Volunteering at the event
- Excellent organisational, time management and planning skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong IT and database skills
- An enthusiastic and collaborative member of the team who can handle a varied workload, is keen to learn and has a passion for conservation
The successful candidate should be available to volunteer with us at least one day a week in the lead up to Galapagos Day in our office in central London, and ideally for the week of the event 17-21 October.
This is an unpaid position, but we can cover travel and lunch expenses up to £10 per day.
