We are looking for a new member for our Management Committee. We meet one evening every two months at the playground, and hold our AGM in September. We are interested in people of all ages and backgrounds.
1. Partake in bi-monthly committee meetings either on-site or zoom-based and keep up with meeting agendas. Additional meetings may occasionally be required if an urgent issue arises.
2. Be willing to volunteer for fundraising days/events at the adventure playground.
You will be contributing to the smooth running of London's oldest adventure playground, which is a vital resource in our local community. In so doing you will be helping numerous young people and families that rely on us throughout the year.
We want to increase our diversity as a management committee as we feel this attains diversity in both skill sets and ideas on how to best nurture and develop Triangle Adventure Playground. We are a friendly bunch and welcome people from all age groups and backgrounds that have an interest in management.
There is the opportunity to partake in other tasks if you so wish - for example helping with food pickups from local supermarkets as part of the fareshare scheme.
You will gain insight into how the charity is run and meet new people.
We are looking for people with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
