What You'll Do: 

Sutton House are looking to expand the volunteer team that help us to share and care for the oldest house in Hackney.

 

Marketing and Communications Volunteer

Use and grow your digital and writing skills. The Marketing and Communications Volunteer will take the lead on social media posts, help to update articles for our website, and keep our signage fresh and relevant. 

 

When?

On a placement basis

Interested in researching stories, histories, and finding ways to communicate them to the public. 
Interested in gaining more experience editing videos or photos to be shared. 
Have a passion for reaching new audiences.  
 

What You'll Learn: 

You'll build and enhance your existing portfolio of communications and design work, as well as learning how communications work in the heritage sector.

We are especially looking for people who: 

· Love meeting new people. 

· Are warm and friendly. 

· Love conversations - asking questions is just as important as answering them.

· Are eager to learn - history and gardening knowledge not essential. 

· Are flexible.
