Learning Mentors - Inspiring Learning Project

What You'll Do:

As a Volunteer Learning Mentor, you will be helping underachieving pupils from disadvantaged backgrounds overcome barriers to learning. Our project's aim is to transform young people’s attitudes towards school, study skills, and help them gain confidence.  It requires your time, commitment, dedication and preparation.

Why You'll Love It:

This is an exciting opportunity to motivate, inspire and empower young people to achieve their full potential. In a short space of time you will notice the change your support is making to the young person's confidence, engagement and educational achievement.

What You'll Learn:

As a volunteer learning mentor you will gain insight and better understanding into the lives of these young people and the multiple barriers they face towards their education. You will be exposed to new and different perspectives. You'll learn how to creatively work with hard to reach young people and their families.
