Gentle Gardening Volunteer

Make local green spaces more colourful and vibrant through helping with planting, watering and weeding. Learn about how to bring wildlife into urban places through planting and looking after the environment. Address: Bernie Spain Gardens, SE1 9PH.

What You'll Do:
  • The session includes gardening outside or occasionally projects inside in bad weather, we also share a healthy lunch and have the opportunity to take plants home to grow. The role will help you to develop skills in gardening and outdoor education. You could make a real difference to the lives of vulnerable and isolated people as well as finding out more about the local area and being part of the community programmes team.
  • Every Tuesday from 11.30-14.00 (free lunch included).

Why You'll Love It:

Get outside in nature, meet people, grow food and flowers and feel part of the local community.
