Association Visitor

What You'll Do:

Visitors act as the main contact for people living with MND (this includes the person with MND, their family and carer) on behalf of the Association. They keep in regular contact offering confidential emotional support, and accurate information to enable people with MND to make informed choices.

Why You'll Love It:

This is an opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of people living with motor neurone disease, learn more about this neurological condition, undertake training with like minded people and join an orgnisation fully committed to improving the lives of people with this devastating condition.

What You'll Learn:

We offer full training both through e-learning and "classroom" sessions delivered via zoom. You will learn about how health and social care services are organised, about motor neurone disease, welfare benefits and healthcare in London. Opportunity to develop communication and listening skills and develop knowledge of MND.

What We're Looking For:

We are looking for someone reliable, warm and empathetic with an understanding of MND and its impact on families, or willingness to develop one.
