Become a STEM Ambassador

If you are studying or researching a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Maths (STEM) related subject and want to volunteer and share your knowledge and experience with young people, you could become a STEM Ambassador.

What You'll Do: 

STEM Ambassador volunteers in universities range from those studying app design to meteorology to healthcare. They come from a vast and diverse range of backgrounds, but all use STEM in their studies. By volunteering a little of their time each year to support school and non-school groups through a range of activities, including mentoring and careers talks, STEM Ambassadors play an essential role in get young people fired up about STEM subjects and careers.

Why You'll Love It: 

Our London STEM Ambassador team will support you at all stages of volunteering, from registering and completing your induction, to training and offering a range of flexible opportunities. All we ask is that you take part in a least one activity every 12 months. You will need to complete a DBS check as part of this onboarding process.
