What you could do:

We're hoping to get a team together (and will also make sure people are supported) so no-one is doing more than they can per week.

Every week we provide a lunch for isolated older people in Victoria. We provide jacket potato with various fillings and a hot meal in winter. the lunch is run by volunteers. We require volunteers on a Wednesday from 11.00 - 2.30.

We are looking for volunteers who can commit at least 4 hours a week on an ongoing basis. Full DBS check and travel expenses covered. Volunteers receive information, advice and training Weekly meetings are held on Saturday for 1 hour

As a Cooking Volunteer youโll join the kitchen team to help produce a three-course vegetarian meal using surplus food. Youโll contribute to recipe ideas, help with prepping the food, cooking the meal, and of course clearing up afterwards!
