'Call My Wine Bluff' Event Support Volunteer

What You'll Do:

We need volunteers to support with one of our annual fundraising events, a fun challenge for both wine tasting amateurs and enthusiasts. Made up of several rounds, teams will have to figure out which wine expert from the panel is telling the truth about the origin and grape of each wine they taste. This event is a very popular fundraiser for Mencap, so we really need the help of volunteers to help it run smoothly!

As a volunteer, you’ll be helping run the events, including:

  • Welcome guests
  • Venue set up
  • Selling raffle tickets
  • Serving wine
  • Hosting tables
  • Help to tidy away

When and where will the event take place?

The event takes place on Thursday 3rd April in Chelsea (a short walk from Sloane Square tube station), and we are looking for volunteers to support us with the set up from 2-5:30pm, and then to help us host the event from 5:30 -10:30pm.

As this event involves serving alcohol, this role is only available for people over the age of 18. You will also need to wear smart black clothes and comfy shoes whilst volunteering at this event.
