Be on the watch for children struggling to participate and, as appropriate, encourage them and support them in engaging more fully. Our Facilitators will always have the lead on any session but love to get our volunteers involved with presenting and leading different parts of the programme as you grow in experience.
We have a number of different in school programmes you could volunteer with including at both primary and secondary level. We run sports and mentoring workshops, talk focussed wellbeing workshops, year group workshop assemblies, outdoor mindfulness programmes and many more (check out our website). Once signed up we'll meet with you to discuss which of our programmes you would most fit with and enjoy supporting, and we would hope that you would continue with that group for the duration of the programme so that there is consistency for the children and young people we work with. We’ll provide you with training alongside your volunteering so that you can get the most out of what you are doing.
