In School Support Facilitator

As a Support Facilitator, you will play a vital role in supporting our facilitators to run our in-school programmes. These are designed to encourage self-reflection, promote positive thought patterns, and support mental and physical well-being.

What You'll Do:

As an In School Support Facilitator you will work alongside our Success Club team to deliver our programmes. As a volunteer you are just as much a part of the team and you will be an integral part of creating a supportive and inclusive environment for the groups of children and young people we work with. Be on the watch for children struggling to participate and, as appropriate, encourage them and support them in engaging more fully. Our Facilitators will always have the lead on any session but love to get our volunteers involved with presenting and leading different parts of the programme as you grow in experience.

We have a number of different in school programmes you could volunteer with including at both primary and secondary level. We run sports and mentoring workshops, talk focussed wellbeing workshops, year group workshop assemblies, outdoor mindfulness programmes and many more (check out our website). Once signed up we'll meet with you to discuss which of our programmes you would most fit with and enjoy supporting, and we would hope that you would continue with that group for the duration of the programme so that there is consistency for the children and young people we work with. We’ll provide you with training alongside your volunteering so that you can get the most out of what you are doing.

Why You'll Love It:

You’ll love volunteering with Success Club because it’s a chance to make a real difference while connecting with passionate, like-minded individuals. The supportive environment fosters personal growth, creativity, and collaboration, making every contribution feel valued. The children and young people we work with are incredible and will love getting to know you. Plus, the rewarding experience of helping others and seeing the impact of your efforts will leave you inspired and motivated.

What You'll Learn:

Volunteering with Success Club offers valuable opportunities to develop leadership, teamwork, and communication skills while contributing to meaningful programmes and making an actual difference in the lives of children and young people. You’ll gain experience in mindfulness and wellbeing techniques, running workshops and you’ll learn how to be flexible. You'll learn how to truly listen to and engage with diverse groups of children and young people. Additionally, you'll gain hands-on experience in problem-solving, project management, and community building, all while making a positive impact and expanding your professional network and experience.

What We're Looking For:

We’re looking for volunteers who have a genuine desire and interest in working with children and young people, who bring a positive attitude and energy to every interaction. Compassion, kindness, and a willingness to support others are key qualities, along with reliability and a strong sense of commitment. Flexibility and the ability to jump into various tasks with enthusiasm will help ensure a rewarding experience for both you and the community we serve.
