What You'll Do: 

 

  • Volunteering with new and existing partners, communities and volunteer groups, building trusting relationships with a focus on community connections.
  • Volunteering with individuals and partners to support engagement, signposting to services and activities.
  • Helping us develop creative and educational resources to support ongoing projects (i.e. with schools, elders groups, etc.)
  • Volunteering in a both on and off property, supporting a diverse audience to learn new skills or be able to contribute their skills to the National Trust.
  • Being a friendly face and promoting the National Trust
  • Support or lead activities with and for the local community
  • Helping us understand our local community, their needs, and what they would like to see from us

Somebody who is...

  • Passionate about enabling participation in nature and heritage and having a positive impact on communities
  • Enjoys working with a variety of people
  • Friendly and a good communicator
  • Looking to develop community engagement skills or keen to use the skills you already have to help communities engage with the National Trust.
  • Able to volunteer alone or part of a team with a ‘have a go’ attitude
  • Able to travel to different locations
