Join us at one of our weekly gardening groups to undertake a variety of activities with guidance from our friendly trained gardening staff.
We consider everyone’s circumstances and design sessions that are supportive and safe for everyone involved. Tasks are suited to all levels of fitness and needs from digging, weeding and planting to watering and seed sprinkling.
Getting outdoors and being in nature and green spaces can also improve your mental and physical health and wellbeing. You will have the opportunity to meet new people and work within a friendly team, all with a goal of improving the local community! We like to reward our volunteers with trips, picnics and talks to say thanks for all their hard work.
Becoming a gardening volunteer will allow you to gain experience in maintaining green spaces and learn some general gardening skills.
