Female Home Comforts Support Volunteer for the Women Service

Assist in delivering engaging and inspiring sessions on how to make a house
feel more homely, fostering a sense of comfort and well-being among participants.

What You'll Do: 
  • Assist the facilitator in preparing and setting up for home improvement sessions.
  • Ensure all materials and tools are available and organised for each session.
  • Help to create a supportive and inclusive environment where participants feel comfortable to learn and share.
  • Encourage participants to engage with each other and build connections through their shared interest in creating a homely environment.
  • Collect feedback from participants to help improve future sessions
What We're Looking For: 
  • Patience and empathy to support participants of varying skill levels and backgrounds.
  • Good organisational skills to help manage materials and ensure sessions run smoothly.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere.
  • Effective communication skills to convey instructions clearly and provide constructive feedback
