Support King's Climate & Sustainability in planting over 700 trees across the King's sports grounds.
5th of April at the HOP King's College Sports Ground, Brockley Rise, London SE23 1NW, UK
12th of April at the New Malden King's Sports Ground, Windsor Avenue, New Malden, Surrey, KT3 5HA. This will be our largest session planting over 750 trees.
The sessions will run all day and you can drop in for the whole session or a couple of hours.
Planting these 200 trees will help improve flora and fauna biodiversity across our sports grounds and help achieve key targets within the King's Biodiversity Action Plan.
You will learn about biodiversity at King's and how by planting trees we increase our positive impact on the world!
Please make sure to wear sensible clothing including sturdy, closed toe shoes, wear lots of warm layers and bring a waterproof. Please also bring gloves if you wish to wear these during the tree planting - as we may not be able to provide any.
The Climate & Sustainability Team will provide be providing some gardening equipment, such as shovels and watering cans. If you have any gardening equipment, in particular small shovels, please do bring them.

We are looking for volunteers to support pupils from low-income backgrounds in English or maths. You’ll work with 1-3 pupils to improve their English and maths, either in-person or online.
We are recruiting volunteer youth mentors who can give 2 hours a week supporting a young person aged 8-18 through outdoor based mentoring sessions. This could include going cycling, visiting museums, enjoying new foods and trying new fun experiences.
As an Enter & View volunteer, you will collect evidence of what works well and what could be improved in health and social services to improve people’s experiences. Healthwatch can use this evidence to make recommendations and inform changes.
