Choir Buddy

We are looking for friendly and supportive volunteers who can come along and join in our weekly singing group, and support the team in providing refreshments and tidying up and help people with disabilities to access these sessions. 

What You'll Do: 

Thursdays 6-7.45pm @ Coin Street neighbourhood centre, 108 Stamford Street, SE1 9NH 

 

Main Duties

  • Help set up and ensure the space is safe and welcoming
  • Welcome members of the group
  • Support access and participation for members of the group with disabilities or additional support needs 
  • Help prepare refreshments (tea, coffee, biscuits) 
  • Chat and listen to members of the group
  • Help tidy up and debrief after the session
  • Plan for future sessions
  • Be vigilant to any safeguarding or health and safety concerns and flag them up with the appropriate staff member as soon as possible.
