We are excited to start developing a multi-million-pound fundraising appeal - The Jewel in the Strand - to restore the church for generations to come.
We are looking for volunteers to work with us on our Social Media platforms.

What You'll Do:
  • Use your digital and creative skills to build a multi-generational audience capturing the welcoming and inclusive ethos of St Mary le Strand.
  • Work on the 4 key social media platform of St Mary le Strand – Facebook, Twitter, Instagram & TikTok – to increase engagement and promote upcoming ventures.
  • Create content for our social media platform, including photos, videos and written content.

You’ll get a chance to focus on one of the following projects. When you apply, please include which project you’d like to be part of in the text box provided before the 13th of November, 2023.

  • A short video summarizing the flower appeal, encouraging donations.
  • A short video summarizing the wider project, including interviews or quotes from the Priest in Charge and/or Project Director.
  • Content in the run-up to Christmas, encouraging supporters to sponsor a flower as a Christmas gift for a loved one.
  • A series of videos/messages in the run up to Christmas, using the idea of an advent calendar.
  • An update on where we’re at with our flower appeal, including a thank you to current donors.
Why You'll Love It:
  • Opportunity to build a network with fellow volunteer with similar interests
  • Chance to develop experience in the arts/heritage sectors, digital, marketing, comms, and fundraising.
