Volunteer Coordinator

To work with the Festival Director and Festival Manager to supervise the volunteer team during the festival.

What You'll Do: 

You will work with the Festival Director and Festival Manager to supervise the volunteer team during the festival, taking a lead in daily briefings, point of call for collection of any volunteers items.

 

Working with the Festival Director to resolve any volunteer schedule clashes or emergencies. 

 

Assist the Festival Director in hosting and running 4-5 training sessions for volunteers.

This is a great way to gain management skills for your CV, as well as develop your time management and leadership abilities.

What We're Looking For: 

Skills required and gained – good organisations skills, good personal communications with WhatsApp, phone calls and email with people of all ages and backgrounds.

 

You don’t need to have any specific previous experience to apply. The role is designed for anyone 18+ who has an interest in supporting the festival and/or gaining additional skills and work experience, though an interest in the industry is not a strict requirement.

 

We are looking for someone who has good availability in the lead up to the festival and during the time of the festival period (13-22 October).
