Volunteer Coordinator

To work with the Festival Director and Festival Manager to supervise the volunteer team during the festival.

What You'll Do:

You will work with the Festival Director and Festival Manager to supervise the volunteer team during the festival, taking a lead in daily briefings, point of call for collection of any volunteers items.

Working with the Festival Director to resolve any volunteer schedule clashes or emergencies.

Assist the Festival Director in hosting and running 4-5 training sessions for volunteers.

Why You'll Love It:

The great thing about Bloomsbury Festival is that we have a range of events and hubs each year that cover various areas of interest and subjects, every year our programme is inspired by a theme, In 2023 this is Grow which can and has been interpreted by our Event Partners to botany, personal and historical growth, architecture, the growth of techology, etc.

You'll be at the heart of the festival, gaining free access on behalf of the festival to the programmed events, exhibitions, talks and workshops. You will also meet various festival partners, sponsors and creators with a chance to network and get to know some of the upcoming and exisitng creators in Bloomsbury, London and beyond.

This is a great way to gain management skills for your CV, as well as develop your time management and leadership abilities.

What We're Looking For:

Skills required and gained – good organisations skills, good personal communications with WhatsApp, phone calls and email with people of all ages and backgrounds.

You don’t need to have any specific previous experience to apply. The role is designed for anyone 18+ who has an interest in supporting the festival and/or gaining additional skills and work experience, though an interest in the industry is not a strict requirement.
