Welcome Host Volunteer

Love theatre, music and dance? Looking for a flexible volunteering opportunity? Welcome Host volunteers help ensure that every visitor to the Royal Opera House knows who we are, what we offer, and how to get involved.

What You'll Do: 
  • Welcome and greet visitors
  • Share information and answer questions
  • Give directions within the building and Covent Garden area
  • Accompany tour groups to ensure they stay together during their visit
  • Help to manage queues and spaces at busy times
  • Assist Front of House staff in keeping everyone safe

Please note: 

  • We're looking for people who can volunteer 2 to 4 sessions per month.
  • Sessions last 1.5 to 4.5 hours and take place on mornings, afternoons and evenings from Monday to Sunday. 
  • You must be available to attend an induction day in person on Sunday 5 November, 10:00-17:00.
