Volunteer Ambassador

Do you love travelling and enjoying working with universities? Join our student ambassador team and help us spread the word about Tutor the Nation’s volunteer opportunities on university campuses across the UK!

What You'll Do:
  • As a student ambassador, you will travel across Uk university campuses and explain what we do as a charity, how our tutoring programmes benefits disadvantaged pupils and encourage students to volunteer with us.

Why You'll Love It:
  • You will gain an expenses-paid in-person training day to meet other ambassadors and the Tutor the Nation Team.
  • You'll travel across universities and represent the organisation at Freshers' and Volunteering Fairs.
  • You'll have the opportunity to steer the strategic direction of TTN's volunteer recruitment by offering your ideas and insights.
What You'll Learn:
  • You'll gain social media expertise using our platforms to reach potential volunteers.
  • You'll learn how to lead and organise events with volunteers at your University.
  • You'll gain skills that will boost your CV and set you apart from the crowd.
What We're Looking For:
  • You are a UK-based university student.
  • You have a couple of hours a week to spread the word about Tutor the Nation (with busier periods in September and October).
  • You are passionate about reducing educational inequality and making education fairer.
  • You feel confident in your ability to motivate and engage your peers.
  • You will enjoy working in a people-facing role, coordinating volunteers and organising events.
