Are you currently looking for different opportunities that would help you as a sports therapist/ physiotherapist? We a currently looking for sports massage volunteers who would like to gain more experience working with our King's Community!
As a King's Sport & Wellness Massage Therapist you will work in our newly established Waterloo Wellness Centre. This will be an opportunity to practice massage techniques in a learning environment! You will deliver 45min massage slots, enhancing the wellbeing of a wide variety of clients, from performance athletes to staff and students at the university.
You will have the opportunity to practice your skills working with a wide variety of clients. All clinic consumables will be provided and you will have the opportunity to work with our King's Sport & Wellness multi-disciplinary team!
Volunteering is an excellent way to break into a new style of massage. Let’s say Swedish massage is old hat for you, but you’d like to break into sports massage therapy. Volunteering your time for sports massage can give you a chance to build confidence in this new healing modality. You will be able to put those skills into pratice and learn how to adapt your style depending on the clients needs.
We are looking for Sports Massage Level 3 qualified on the pathway to gaining Level 4 certification. You will also need to hold individual liability insurance.
