Research Volunteer
Healthwatch Greenwich is offering a great learning opportunity for an undergraduate or postgraduate student to work with a small and dedicated team, supporting our community research and insight programme.
You will be working closely with the Social Research Manager to:
- Support research activities, such as writing information sheets and FAQs, speaking with potential participants and organising fieldwork activities.
- Support with collecting qualitative and/or quantitative data.
- Conduct desktop research in preparation for projects.
- General administrative tasks, including recording findings and taking written notes.
- Upload data onto electronic databases.
- Undergo training as required.
- Protect any confidential information at all times.
- Participate in meetings as required.

This is an opportunity to support a variety of interesting research projects, to engage with organisations and bodies involved in the provision of publicly funded healthcare and to make a difference to your local community. Much of our work is focused on the health inequalities experienced by different communities or on underresearched groups of people; for example, we work on projects around maternal outcomes and migrant communities, the experiences of informal carers, and young people's sexual health and wellbeing.
